Temuera Morrison as HAKI

Picture
Temuera (Te Arawa) is one of New Zealand's best-recognized Māori actors in the world. Morrisons instincts as a performer came naturally (his uncle, Sir Howard Morrison, was one of the nation's best loved entertainers). Temuera’s big break came when he was cast as Jake Heke, an alcoholic and abusive Māori husband and father, in the acclaimed drama Once Were Warriors. His vivid performance won him the Best Actor trophy at the 1994 New Zealand Film and TV Awards, and won him roles in a number of large American productions culminating in his performance as Jango Fett in the eagerly anticipated Star Wars: Episode Two -- Attack of the Clones. He has balanced overseas work with a commitment to the Māori and New Zealand film industry. More recent films include: Tracker; Green Lantern; Mahana; Mount Zion; Moana; and the upcoming Aquaman super hero film.

Eds Eramiha as SONNY

Picture
Eds (Ngā Puhi) was a professional kickboxer and national title holder before following his passion for the performing arts and completing a Bachelor’s Degree. He is a core member of the dance movement group Hawaiki Tū and has appeared in a number of recent New Zealand films including: Tracker; Mahana; and Deadlands. He also turned in a lively performance in the
television series This is Piki. (Click here to watch a short television piece on Eds Eramiha and his journey from kick boxer to actor.)

Cian White as RITA

Picture
Despite her relatively young age, Cian (Te Arawa) is quickly establishing herself as a major player in New Zealand’s theatre scene with awards as writer, producer and actor in a number of plays. She has also won acclaim for her performances on screen in: 800 Words; The Blue Rose; Fantail; and Underbelly.
Cian is set to release her debut Short Film 'Daddy's Girl' as Writer/Director, later in 2020.
